AUDITORIUM BUILDING


The Auditorium Building, with Adler and Sullivan as architects, was built in 1889. It combined hotel and office space with a splendid theater. It is one of the best known designs of Dankmar Adler and Louis Sullivan. It was completed in 1889. It was the dream on Ferdinand Peck, a Chicago businessman who wanted to build the world’s grandest and most expensive theater.
